ALA 2015: What data can do for you

ESP_Lunch   collectionHQ partnered with Baker & Taylor and Las Vegas- Clark County Library District this weekend for a panel discussion about how public libraries are using big data to provide for their communities in different ways. It was a packed house in the Sir Francis Drake Hotel for this ALA session, with many familiar faces and some new ones who wanted to find out “What’s the deal with data?” With so much information readily available to libraries, there is a need for good models and innovative leadership to put several variables together with a conclusive action plan to transform any branch with the data at hand. To find out more about how collectionHQ and our partners are keeping libraries ahead of the data curve, we welcome you to stop by Booth #2909 during the last couple days of ALA.
