ESP was identified as the tool that would help to reduce the percentage of the collection that was Dead on Arrival (a metric which reports material added to a library collection over a 12 month period which subsequently does not achieve more than one circulation) and to support New Orleans Public Library’s two-person Collection Development team to make efficient, patron-driven selection decisions.
Using ESP has helped the library to achieve:
