EBSM Today
Over the years, the EBSM Toolset has grown considerably and the need to structure the EBSM methodology into a clearly defined, logical and practical framework has increased.
EBSM has developed therefore into what it is today – a robust, proven framework that guides a Library through the Phases of Library collection performance improvement, from adoption through to operation and onto Excellence.
To support this journey towards collection excellence, EBSM Tools have today been grouped into logical, sequential Stages which are ordered using a rationale that will make sense to Librarians across the globe. collectionHQ offers a number of EBSM Action Plans for each of the Stages, providing librarians with the ability to use EBSM to analyze collection data and take appropriate action. collectionHQ is a service available to public libraries which has been developed based on the EBSM methodology.
